Skittles was adopted during the summer of 2025. Unfortunately, his light colored skin left him vulnerable to many skin conditions. When he developed squamous cell carcinoma in his eye, his owner no longer had any use for him. Saving Gracie, along with our amazing veterinary ophthalmologist, knew that with surgery and proper long-term care, Skittles could keep his eye, his vision, and remain sound and even rideable! Skittles has settled into his home at Saving Gracie well and still gets to go out on the trail, with sun protection, of course!
