Dixie is a cute and spicy little girl. She has a unique story. Dixie was a surprise birth. No one knew her mom, Mirage, was pregnant. Mirage was in training and when she started gaining weight they reduced her feed without knowing she actually needed more quality food. Mirage and Dixie suffered a bit from lack of nutrition. Their owner contacted me to see if I could take them and try to get them both well.

As Dixie matured she went into training. She was ridden for many years until we just couldn’t get the pain from her injuries under control. Dixie is retired and part of our rescue program.
