Rango is our newest rescue at Gracie’s Farm. HIs owners weren’t able to care for him and after years of neglect they decided to send him to an auction. Horse auctions are typically a way for owners to surrender their horses and if that horse has any health issues he’s most likely will do to slaughter unless a rescue comes forward to save them.

When I heard this I was motivated to protect him from that horrible fate.

Rango has many health issues and at this point we’re working on evaluating how best to help him.
